<image:caption>Lady Hope McMillan serves alongside her husband, Bishop William E. McMillan, Jr. in Baltimore at both Rehoboth Ministries Church of God in Christ and Holy Trinity Ministries Church of God in Christ. A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, her years in ministry at Holy Temple Church of God in Christ encompassed a desire to impact lives and minister to youth and young adults. Lady Hope served in various leadership capacities in her local church and Jurisdiction. Viewed as a leader of leaders, she developed and facilitated conferences, workshops and seminars, with a primary focus to train youth leaders. With a passion for ministry to women and the gift of influence, Lady Hope coordinated an annual women’s luncheon, “Women of Power – Encouraged, Equipped and Empowered”. Through this venue, women were inspired, affirmed, saved and healed by the power of the Holy Ghost. Lady Hope’s desire to advance the Kingdom of God yet remains one of her earnest passions. She is a gifted administrator, event planner, and dedicated church worker, who coordinates and leads various church and community-related activities. Her enthusiasm for the work of the Lord is contagious, inspiring those whom she encounters. As First Lady, she serves as Director of the Department of Women’s Ministry and is host to their biennial Women of Destiny Conference and Retreat. Given a vision by God to help further the development and growth of women, Lady Hope leads a ministry titled “Growing with Lady Hope.” GWLH is committed to the betterment of women as we navigate through life altering challenges using everyday life application based on Biblical principles. In 2017, equipped with a vision from the Lord, Lady Hope launched “Refresh”, a ministry to First Ladies. Today’s First Ladies are committed to God, and they are living out that commitment in dynamic ways, in their churches, communities and abroad. As such, special care is given to each First Lady. Our intimate time together is refreshing as it offers each First Lady love, laughter and lounging. Refresh is an intimate time and opportunity to develop sister friendships and connections. Lady Hope’s biblically grounded knowledge allows her to share with believers and non-believers. Today, you will find her praying, studying and sharing the Word of God with all people. She lives life according to her favorite scripture, Philippians 3: 13-14 “Brethren, I count not myself to apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Lady Hope and her husband, Bishop William McMillan, Jr., have three beautiful children, Kimberli, Julia, and William, III and four grandchildren, Darnell, Derek, Aria and Darien.</image:caption>
