warm up the block
A Warmer Community Starts With Us.
Warm Up the Block is an Urban Initiatives program of Rehoboth Ministries Church of God in Christ, created to help children in our community stay warm during the colder months.
Our mission calls us to reach beyond the walls of the church, serve our neighbors, and help improve the quality of life for the communities around us. Warm Up the Block is one way we put that mission into action.
Warm Up the Block gives winter gear to kids 17 and under.
Families may request: Warm Up Essentials (hat, gloves, socks) and Winter Coats. Families may request Warm Up Essentials, a winter coat, or both, depending on their child’s needs and preferences. All items are provided while supplies last.
HELP US
WARM UP THE BLOCK
We’re asking local businesses, churches, organizations, and community partners to help provide winter items for children and teens.
A $75 sponsorship supplies one child with warm essentials for winter, such as:
A warm hat
Gloves
Warm socks
How you can help:
Sponsor one child — $75
Sponsor multiple children
Donate new hats, gloves, socks, or coats
Host a collection drive with your employees, members, congregation, or customers.
Why it matters: Many families must choose between clothing and other basic needs. Your support eases that burden and helps keep kids warm.
This is a direct, practical way to serve families in our community.
